Helplines in Ukraine

In an emergency, call 112, or 103 for an ambulance. For suicidal thoughts or mental health support, LifeLine Ukraine answers on 7333, free and 24 hours a day, with trained crisis counsellors. It was first set up for veterans and their families, but it supports anyone.

The services listed here work in Ukrainian, and none of them states that it offers English. If you don't speak Ukrainian, call 112 anyway in an emergency, give your location as clearly as you can, and stay on the line. Emergency services usually find a way to help.

Anyone affected by domestic or gender-based violence, or trafficking, can call La Strada-Ukraine's national hotline on 116 123 from a mobile, or 0 800 500 335 from a landline or mobile. It is free, anonymous and open 24/7. The state hotline 15-47 also takes calls from victims and witnesses around the clock. Shelter addresses are kept confidential, and these hotlines can help you find a safe place. Children, teenagers and students can call La Strada's children's line on 116 111 from a mobile or 0 800 500 225 from any phone, at any hour. Men dealing with stress, crisis or the pressures of the war can call 2345, daily from 14:00 to 06:00.
