Support services in Paris

If you are in danger right now, call 112 or the police on 17. If you are having suicidal thoughts, the national 3114 line is free and answers day and night. In a psychiatric emergency, the CPOA at the Sainte-Anne hospital site sees anyone aged 16 or over, day or night, without an appointment. For emotional support in English, SOS Help is a volunteer listening line open every afternoon and evening.

Women facing violence can call 3919, the free and anonymous national line that is open around the clock. It listens, informs and points you to local support, so you do not need to find a shelter yourself. After rape or sexual assault, Viols Femmes Informations offers confidential support on weekdays.

Migrants and refugees can get mental health care at the Centre Minkowska or, for survivors of torture and political violence, the Centre Primo Levi, both with interpreters or specialist teams. LGBTQ+ people can turn to the Centre LGBTQI+ in the Marais. Most services ask you to phone first.
